Exquisite Acts and Everyday Rebellions

(Passing this info along...)

Hello Everyone,
As part of the "Exquisite Acts and Everyday Rebellions" series of
events, we have a special lecture planned for this coming Monday,
February 26th at 7:00 in The Langely. The lecture will be given by
Carole Caroompas and Cal Arts alum Tom Knechtel. They will be speaking
about their individual practices, as well as having a conversation
about the Feminist Art Movement in Los Angeles and the important
effect it had on their early careers.
Carole will be included in the "Multiple Vantage Points: Southern
California Women Artists, 1980-2006" exhibition which opens this
Sunday, February 25th at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at
Barnsdall Park. There is a link below that has all the information. We
hope to see you at both events.
